What I bring to the Table
Experience
As a local news and freelance photographer, I have 4+ years of experience capturing a wide variety of content. This includes portraiture, covering events, weddings, and even photographing aircraft made by Northrop Grumman for publication. I have experience leading and working with others in my previous role as a director of videography and in my current role as the photo/video manager at Forest Home Camps. I believe my experience in these multiple fields contributes to generating meaningful content in any situation.
Quality & Efficiency
While I am always looking for ways to improve my photography skills, I already have an established workflow that focuses on delivering the best quality photos and content in a time-sensitive environment. Often organizations like Northrop Grumman rely on steady streams of content for both marketing and internal use, making this a valuable skill for a photography position.
Storytelling
I am all about using realistic lighting, colors, and composition to tell stories though my content. I firmly believe aerospace and defense work is one of the most intriguing and rewarding fields of work, and I look forward to highlighting Northrop’s important role in the industry to promote employee engagement, events, and business achievements.
Technical Skills
I have extensive technical knowledge stemming from my love of building computers and my B.S. in Management Information Systems. I love leveraging my knowledge of photo/production equipment to choose gear that best fits the job at hand. I use my knowledge of information technology to secure backups of my footage, as well as accelerating my editing workflow. I am well-versed in hardware and software made by Microsoft, Apple, Blackmagic Design, Adobe, Intel, NVIDIA, etc.
